"The Noble House of Hood, was founded by Abraham Hood, great grandfather of the current generation of successors. The family's Manor is located in the district of Darkwood (previously known as Greatwood), and is administered by Adrian Hood, the current patriarch of the House.
His sister, Rebecca, took to the traveling of the realm, first as head of the merchantile operations of the family's business, and later on her own. Although letters arrive to Darkwood Manor from time to time, Rebecca's whereabouts are not known, and any messengers hired to find her usually return empty handed, having lost her trace and being unable to recover it.
The Noble House of Hood governs the forest districts around Darkwood, having been appointed by the Royal court in times of Abraham Hood, entitled "Royal Wolf Hunters", and tasked with the defense and safeguarding of the roads, towns, and the Eastern Frontier Wall, against the constant attacks of the Fera Tribes."
